For venue''s, promoters, managers, acts, organisers etc
All of these conditions form an integral part of the contract

Each act/artiste/band is booked on an individual basis and any re-engagements between Artist/Management/Venue shall be deemed to have been negotiated through Global Entertainments for the next 18 months and be subject to commission. These terms and conditions apply to all future bookings which will be confirmed with BOOKING CONFIRMATION DOCUMENTS which in turn become a part of the contract.
  • Individual bookings are deemed to have been accepted if no written or verbal objection is received within 14 days.

  • The Contract confirms the verbal contract already made between the Artiste and the Promoter/Booker

  • Although every reasonable safeguard is assured this booking(s) has been negotiated on behalf of the Venue/Artiste/Promoter/Third Party and no responsibility for non-fulfilment of any part of the Contract/Agreement, by the Proprietors/Managements/Artists/Promoters/Third Party concerned, is accepted by Global Entertainments

  • The contract is binding and does not provide for cancellation

  • Any cancellations by Artists/Venues/Clients may result in demands for payment relating to fees/expenses/commission. Any deposits paid are non returnable. Deposits cover administration costs

  • Please Note: Settlement of any Money/Commissions/NPU''s must be paid within 7 days of invoice date. Global Entertainments reserve the right to add 8% per month for overdue accounts. In the event of venues operating a NO CASH PICK UP POLICY all fees must be paid by the 7th day of the following month.

  • Global Entertainments cannot be held liable for any incidents or accidents which may arise through their artist(s) or their equipment, the Employer shall not be responsible for any loss or damage sustained by the Artiste whilst at the venue unless such loss or damage is caused by the negligence of the Employer or his servants.

  • The Employer expects the Artiste to strictly observe stage etiquette with regard to smoking and drinking, thus reserving the right to instantly dismiss any Artiste perceptibly intoxicated or under the influence of drugs whilst on the premises.

  • The Rider is an extra page on the contract which details more of what is required. The rider forms part of the contract and must be adhered to

  • No salary shall be paid if the engagement is suspended through circumstances beyond the control of the employer such as War, National Mourning, Fire, Strike or Lockouts in the district directly affecting the venue or by order of the Licensing or any Public Authority having jurisdiction. In any such circumstances, immediate notice must be given to the Artiste, and reasonable expenses must be paid

  • Provided that the Employer pays to the Artiste his full contractual salary, he/she may prohibit the whole or any part of the Artistes performance or exclude the Artiste from any or all performances.

  • FULL FEES WILL BE PAYABLE IF THE EMPLOYER WISHES TO CHANGE THE TYPE OF ENTERTAINMENT TO SUIT A LAST MINUTE EVENT. (eg A Frank Sinatra Tribute has been booked for a particular date but the venue wishes to accommodate an 18th Birthday Party booking which requires a disco) This is NOT A REASONABLE EXCUSE TO ATTEMPT TO CANCEL and artistes will require payment in full for ALL such cancelations .

  • The Artiste/s must attend the venue in good time to allow them to set up all their equipment and conduct a sound check. Artiste/s to keep sound checks to a minimum if there are people in the same room. If deemed necessary, the Artiste/s should make arrangements with the venue management to gain early access

  • The Artiste/s will comply with the safety and regulations affecting the venue, and they will not make any nuisance by way of noise or otherwise to the venue or to its environment or neighbours, nor will they in any manner bring disrepute upon the venue or cause any authority to take action against it.

  • Any audio or audio-visual recording or live broadcast to be made from the venue and including the perfomance of the artiste/s will require its prior written consent

  • Artiste/s to control the volume to an agreed level as may be requested or required by the venue or organiser.

  • The Artiste in this contract includes each and every member of the Artiste where the Artiste is a group or act consisting of more than one person.

  • No naked lights shall be carried, nor matches used, nor will any venue lighting or electrical apparatus be altered without the venue''s permission. The artiste may not bring in to the venue any combustible or explosive material or devices, unless with the prior permission of the venue

  • The work-seeker shall be responsible for their conduct, efficiency, punctuality and behaviour (including their employees or other parties that they introduce to the venue).

  • If the Artiste/s agree to a "no pick up fee", the Agency will pay the Artiste/s within ten working days of receipt of the fee/s from the venue management/hirer/promoter or from another agency. This can be up to a month or more from performance date. Artistes commission will be deducted at source for any monies held for them - ie from no pick ups

  • Cancellation Fees. If Less than 60 (Sixty) Days, full contractual fee will be payable. In the case of Named Acts cancellations will not be allowed after 14 days of booking the act, even if signed contracts are not returned to the agency within that time limit.

  • No cancellations will be accepted by venues/organisers/promoters/managers etc if they have not sold enough tickets to a function, or any other cause that could reasonably be expected to be within their control. If it is a ticket only event then the organisers are required by law to have sufficient funds available to fulfil all contractual obligations even if no tickets are sold.

  • Venues/Organisers are responsible for the safety of artists while on the premises. Customers who are under the influence of alcohol or drugs must be restrained by the management while the artiste/band is performing or on the premises. Venues/organisers must restrict all access to stage/performance areas unless invited by the artiste/''s.

  • The Agency accepts no responsibility for any breach of contract on the part of the Employer or the Artiste through whatever cause arising, but every reasonable safeguard is assured.

  • The Agent reserves the right to change artistes without prior notice, normally in the case of genuine illness or accident. The agency undertakes to endeavour to replace the Artiste/s with a substitute of similar calibre, upon agreement with the management or hirer

  • The Artiste/s guarantees that they are not contracted in any way which may affect them from fulfilling this agreement, and will enter into no such agreement.

  • Should this agreement be for a band etc, the nominated representative, ie the addressee, agrees to accept all responsibility for all members of the band in all terms expressed herein, including Agency commissions

  • The Artiste/Venue/Organiser/Promoter etc are responsible for their own Public Liability Insurance and PAT testing of equipment at the time of engagement. Acts must carry with them the relevant documentation for inspection at any time by Venues/Organisers etc. Risk assessments should be carried out by artistes after setting up equipment

  • The Artiste is responsible for paying their own Tax and National Insurance. This is not the agencies responsibility. All Artistes are deemed to be self employed.

  • Global Entertainments charges the Artiste/s a fee equivalent to an agreed percentage of the contracted fee receivable by the Artiste. We act as an Employment Agency and Employment Business, this will be stipulated on the contract

  • Acts should always carry with them a receipt/invoice book offering each venue an invoice for payment. If acts are VAT registered, VAT should be added to the total fee at the current rates specified by the government of the day, and a VAT issued to the venue in all cases.

  • All artistes should contact the venue/organiser about 3 days prior to performance, to double check that the event is as scheduled and times agreed still apply.

  • The venue management or hirer guarantees that all Licensing Regulations have been adhered to, and that all necessary licensing requirements for the fulfilment of this agreement are in place

  • Should the Artiste/s need to cancel due to sickness or accident, the Artiste/s are required to supply a medical certificate, or an official confirmation of the necessity of cancellation

  • All invoices to be paid within 7 days of the invoice date

  • All booking generated from performing at the contracted venue must be booked through Global Entertainments.

  • Acts working with children and/or vulnerable adults must be CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) checked and carry with them the correct documentation at all times. The venue or hirer agrees that a responsible adult person will be in attendance at all times between arrival and departure of all Children''s EntertainersThe Artiste agrees to supply a complete and adequate sound system for all their performances unless otherwise advised on the contract.

  • The Artiste/s accepts legal responsibility for all musical, visual and spoken content. Artistes agree to conduct themselves at all times in a professional manner, which is deemed reasonable by the venue management

  • Venues/Promoters/Organisers etc should make sure that there is a suitable performing area where artistes can perform in safety. An adequate dressing room must be provided for the act/s to change their clothes. Toilet cubicles used by the public or staff are not acceptable.

  • Electricity Supply: Venues must ensure that a safe electrical supply meeting or exceeding British Standards is available at the performance area when electrical equipment is to be used as part of the performance.

  • Performing Rights. It is the artistes responsibility to ensure that regulations regarding performing rights are adhered to

  • Stage materials, backdrops etc should carry flame retardant certificates

  • Acts to check with the venue/organiser to see if they are allowed to use smoke machines, haze machines, pyrotechnic effects and strobe lights. Should any artiste require the use of strobe lighting, the following points must be strictly adhered to: a legible sign must be placed on the front door of the premises and to each side of the Artiste stating: "DURING THIS PERFORMANCE THIS ARTISTE USES STROBE LIGHTING." This sign must be clearly printed in lettering at least three inches high. In addition to this, strobes may only be used for a maximum duration of ten seconds in any two-minute period.

  • Acts must adhere to no smoking in venues after 1st July 2007

  • SAFETY: The Client agrees to provide appropriate supervision of his / her guests. The Client agrees to make sure that no unauthorised person will touch any of the instruments, sound and lighting equipment at any time before, during or after the show. Should any instruments or equipment be damaged by one of your guests, the band management will be entitled to demand restitution from the Client or contracting party. In those cases where the band has agreed for the Client to use a microphone for announcements / speeches, etc, the Client will specify who is to use the microphone and that this person must do so under the supervision of the artiste or sound engineer.
Artiste- Any payment made to the Artiste from the agency prior to our receipt of fees shall be at our discretion and be deemed to be in the form of an advanced payment; repayable immediately if the fees are not paid by the third party IMPORTANT MESSAGEIt is now a legal requirement that all engagements are agreed under formal contract.You are entering into a legally binding verbal agreement with the Hirer/Artistes. Written contracts now need to be exchanged in formal confirmation. The contract(s) are enclosed for your attention, and you should sign and return a copy to this office immediately
